AI Video Generation

Create AI-generated videos directly within your audits and templates. AI Video Generation transforms text descriptions into short video clips, ideal for demonstrating procedures, showcasing proper techniques, or providing visual training materials.

Availability

Important: AI Video Generation requires an OpenAI or Google AI API key.

If you attempt to use video generation without one configured, you’ll be prompted to add an appropriate API key.

Supported Providers

  • OpenAI - Advanced video models
  • Google AI - Veo video generation models

Accessing AI Video Generation

  1. In a template question or audit, tap the Add Media button
  2. Select “Generate Video with AI” from the menu
  3. If not configured, you’ll be prompted to set up an API key

Generating Videos

Step 1: Enter Your Description

Describe the video you want to create. Be specific about:

  • The scene or setting
  • Actions or movements
  • Important details to include
  • Style or mood

Step 2: Configure Options

Select your preferred generation settings based on the provider:

  • Duration - Length of the video clip
  • Resolution - Video quality settings
  • Style - Visual style preferences

Step 3: Generate

Tap “Generate Video” to create your video. Video generation may take longer than images due to the complexity involved.

Step 4: Preview and Use

Once generated:

  • Preview - Watch the video before using
  • Use Video - Add the video to your template or audit
  • Regenerate - Try again with refined description

Setting Up Video Generation

Configure API Key

  1. Go to Settings → AI Template Generator
  2. Enter your OpenAI or Google AI API key
  3. Tap Save Key
  4. Test the connection to verify

Video generation uses your API provider’s pricing:

  • Costs vary by provider and video settings
  • Video typically costs more than image generation
  • Monitor usage on your provider’s dashboard
  • Consider setting spending limits

Tips for Best Results

  • Be descriptive - Detailed prompts yield better results
  • Specify the action - Describe what should happen in the video
  • Include context - Mention the setting, people, and equipment
  • Keep it focused - One clear action or concept per video
  • Professional style - Request workplace-appropriate content

Limitations

  • Video length is limited by the provider
  • Complex scenes may not render perfectly
  • Text in videos may not be readable
  • Generation time is longer than images
